Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Daddy Day Camp is a recruiting poster for kids, insisting that there's no domestic problem that military values can't solve. – Matt Zoller Seitz, New York Times, Jul 22, 2014

Rotten: Because he's an Oscar winner with a rep now for headlining turkeys, watching Cuba Gooding Jr. in trash like Daddy Day Camp almost hurts. – Gregory Kirschling, Entertainment Weekly, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: The acting is atrocious and more obvious than you see in many high school or college productions. The jokes are stale. The storyline is so predictable, I'll bet nearly everyone in the theater will guess what happens next. – Bill Zwecker, Chicago Sun-Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The juvenile actors come off as movie brats, and the pacing is slowed by treacly speeches about father-son bonding. As a child star on The Wonder Years, director Fred Savage worked with some of TV's best, but you'd never guess it from this. – Andrea Gronvall, Chicago Reader, Jun 24, 2010

Terrible

just boring what happened to the other nice cast Eddie Murphy go buy the Original

UGH

this movie has got to be one of THE WORST movies ever. My sister, who forced my family to rent it was soo excited, because she had just recently watched daddy day care (which is so much better! buy tht instead!) We got home from blockbuster and she sat down to watch it. She got up and left within the first half hour because it was boring and not entertaining or funny whatsoever... and she is 10! I decided to watch the whole thing and give it a chance, but I was dying through it. The cheesy competion at the end had me barfing in my mouth. It was the usual talk that dads and sons have in cheesy movies. "believe in yourself. im proud of you son. be who you are. find yourself. i believe in my heart you can do it." blah blah blah. DONT GET THIS, DONT RENT IT, DONT EVEN LOOK AT IT FOR TOO LONG! =} <3 {=
