Plot Summary
A butcher. An animal. A monster. Jeffrey Dahmer was vilified when authorities discovered he had murdered, dismembered and even tried to consume the bodies of 15 young men in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But is there such a thing as a human monster? Rotten: As gamely as the movie tries to make sense of its title character, there remains a huge gap between the film's creepy, clean-cut Dahmer (Jeremy Renner) and fiendish acts that no amount of earnest textbook psychologizing can bridge.

strange film...and effecting
first let me begin by saying i watched this as i enjoy jeremy renner as an actor. he was amazing in this film. obviously jeffrey dahmer had some of the most severe issues anyone can be afflicted with. renner tackled this role and made him human...it was a tough watch...but so well done.

I got to meet the lead Jeremy Renner working on a film and he is an amazing actor and a friendly person. He does an amazing job in this film, having met him the work he must have done for this role must have been difficult. Definately worth watching, Mr. Renner really has a way of getting across how creepy and crazed J Dahmer was!
