Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Its triumph is that it is never exactly boring, only dulled. It's a movie in acute need of sharpening.
Fresh: Costner tells a personal story that never loses touch with the vast Western spaces encompassing and defining it. Dances With Wolves is an epic that breathes. And it's a beauty.
Fresh: As a director, Costner is alive to the sweep of the country and the expansive spirit of the western-movie tradition.
Fresh: In his directorial debut, Kevin Costner brings a rare degree of grace and feeling to this elegiac tale.

Dances With Wolves
A true classic. It shows that Kevin Costner is good at both an actor and a director. The movie itself breaks the often black & white opinions on Native Americans and shows that not all of them are as bad as some people thought of them to be. If there was one movie I could say is worthy of it's Oscar winnings, it's this one.
One of the Greatest Movies of Our Generation
This movie speaks to the human nature. It is a window into the soul of man, and was done brilliantly. I watched this in the theater over 15 years ago, and have seen it numerous times on DVD. This is an excellent addition to iTunes, and I would recommend viewing. It is a slower movie, lacking the fast-pace so many are used too, but the content is beautiful, the message is subtle but pointed. Download and enjoy!
Great Film
This is a wonderfully made film and one of my all time favorites. Between the captivating storyline, breathtaking scenery, and amazing score, it is hard not to appreciate this work. Kevin Costner did a superb job on both sides of the camera, and there are new things to find each time I view the film. Thank you iTunes for adding this.
