Yay!
Great iTunes! Now just please come out with the whole series! At least come out with The Best of Barnabas! But the whole series would be a dream come true!
LOVE THE ORIGINAL
Dark Shadows came out before I was born, but I still remember seeing it for the first time when I was 12 years-old. I was hooked, and have been hooked ever since. It is a great and tragic story all wrapped into one. If you can get over the fact that this is not state of the art by today's standards, but sit back and enjoy based on the standards of its time you will find that it is really quite intriguing. At this time I am holding out on the upcoming movie release. The last time this show was redone, it was redone poorly and I am scared that J. Depp has made a mockery out it in his movie. After watching the commercials J. Depp looks like Willie Wonka with a pale complexion, sharp fangs, wearing the same ol' sunglasses and sporting Wonka's sense of humor. I am nervous. I hated the new Wonka, hope I won't hate the new Barnabas Collins too.
Dark Shadows fan - old and new
Loved the Dark Shadows series and always raced home to watch it - just saw the new movie with Johnny Depp and while it is a spoof, it's still good and you can pick up on some of the subtle memories from the original series. Would like to see ITunes carry the original series to purchase but will start with this move.
