Plot Summary
The twisted minds of two of the six screenwriters behind Scary Movie- Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg are at it again- this time poking fun at the romantic comedy genre! Date Movie tells the story of hopeless romantic Julia Jones (Alyson Hannigan), who has finally met the man of her dreams, the very British Grant Funkyerdoder (Adam Campbell). But before they can have their "Big Fat Greek Wedding," they'll have to "Meet the Parents," hook-up with "The Wedding Planner" and contend with Grant's friend Andy, a spectacularly beautiful woman who wants to put and end to her "Best Friend's Wedding."

Pretty Funny.
I found this movie quite funny. It may have had its dumb moments yet it still isn't a bad one to rent. Epic Movie was terrible as well as the rest after this movie, however, this is actually the best of these kinds of movies besides Scary Movie one of course.I would rent it regardless of what others think. Some people just don't have as much of an open sense of humor as others and would prefer more serious movies. Then what is comedy if it is serious?

this movie was tha baumb! alright, sum scenes were stupid N inappropiate but it was funny and it had a point. All movies do.
