Plot Summary
Directed by special effects guru Robert Kurtzman, best known for his work in City Slickers and Cabin Fever, the film stars Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints franchise) and Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos, The Matrix franchise). In an explosive game of cat and mouse, Deadly Impact follows hard-nosed cop Thomas Armstrong (Flanery) whose life was shattered when he became the helpless target of a mastermind murderer. Returning home after a much-needed break, Armstrong joins the FBI to seek revenge and help track down the same killer that threatened his existence, however this time the assassin is back to terrorize not just a single person, but the entire city. In an exhilarating race against time, Armstrong must stay one step ahead to capture the madman and save innocent lives before time runs out.

Deadly Impact
I didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was. Kind of surprised me, in fact. In the past, Director Robert Kurtzman has been known for his independent horror films and special effects--his list of credits at IMDB is longer than I am tall--so I wasn't too excited about watching what I believe is his first action/suspense film, but I'm glad I did. I think Deadly Impact is as good as any of the top movies in that genre. If you liked the Die Hard, Boondock Saints, or Lethal Weapon movies, I think you'll like this. I sure did. I'm a big fan of well done ation sequences, and Deadly Impact has some winners, let me tell you. I won't write a spoiler, want you to enjoy this, but will say that Sean Patrick Flanery and Carmen Serano--the good guys--and Joe Pantoliano---the villain---play their parts extremely well. I've been a fan of Robert Kurtzman since From Dusk Till Dawn, Flanery since Boondock Saints, and Pantoliano since La Bamba, so we're talking about a lot of years, but this is their best yet. Let's hope they make more films together. Deadly Impact is definitely worth your money!

i did enjoy the action, Sean Patrick Flanery is awesome as always, was a little too predictable but i still enjoyed it.
Not bad..
The movie had some predictable moments, but it wasn't bad if you're trying to kill some time (which is exactly what I was doing).
