Plot Summary

In 1980, John Wayne Gacy (William Forsythe of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS) was convicted of the rape and murder of 33 boys and young men – many of whom he buried beneath his suburban Chicago home – and sentenced to death row. Thirteen years later, ambitious criminology student Jason Moss (Jesse Moss of UNINVITED) began a bizarre correspondence with the serial killer by posing as a vulnerable gay teen. What followed was a nightmare journey into a world of violence, madness and sexual depravity that brought home the true horror of Gacy’s crimes. Hailed by Maxim as a "true-life Silence of the Lambs," Dear Mr. Gacy is a chilling true story based on the best seller that detailed an 18-year-old’s terrifying relationship with the most notorious mass murderer in American history.

Soooooo Creepy!!!!

So I got this movie for my brithday and I was a little worried by the looks of the movie and having seen the trailer I was afraid it would be boring. Let me tell you this movie is truely disturbing and creepy in a good way. I felt like I was in the movie while watching this. I have never felt this way about a movie before. It is so real that it is creepy. Just the thought that all the stuff that went down in the movie is true is just unbelievable. I would recommend this movie to people who are looking for a creepy movie. Let me tell you you will get creepy when watching this and maybe even more!

I don't know what made me want to watch But...

Obviously based on a true story, so you can't fault the facts. The acting is good on all parts. I didn't know that Gacy proclaimed his innocence even until his death. I figured serial-killers would want to brag about their conquests? Like Manson did. I don't know. I have questions after watching the movie.

As far as being just a movie goes. It's no silence of the lambs. But it definately could have been. I can really how this would be the "Inspiration" for the Silence of the Lambs movies, except that this came after the fact!. It moved a little slow and the boy really lets Gacy get under his skin, and I don't understand how. Anyway, I wouldn't buy this one, but consider it for a rent when you've seen everything else.

Dear mr gacy

Fantastic movie i will say. Actors are BRILLIANT! Alot of people don't get the concept of this movie because of all the vilolence and other stuff... But anyways, watch it before you buy it just to make sure it's what you want
