Plot Summary

Hollywood is a hot spot for celebrities, and tour guide Scott Michaels (E!'s "20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders," FindADeath.com) knows their, well, haunts. DEARLY DEPARTED is an all-access tour of the "backlots" of L.A. - locations where the most infamous murders, suicides and bizarre crimes involving A-listers have taken place. The Viper Room, the site where "The Black Dahlia" was discovered, and dozens more legendary spots are explored in this funny and equally shocking ride into L.A.'s seedy underground.

Very Interesting!

This, along with Scott Michaels other film, "Six Degrees of Helter Skelter" are must see for those curious about true Hollywood Crime/Deaths. It is an uncomfortable subject for some, but still an interesting topic that Hollywood History buffs should enjoy. If you ever get to go to LA, look up "Dearly Departed Tours"! Scott will take you around to show you many of these places and more! I can't wait for our next trip back, we plan on booking him again!

I Felt Compelled to Watch

I remember the crimes like they were just last year . . . and now, added to my memories, are the places where it all happened. Thorough, fascinating and, forty years later, still just as disturbing.

Dearly Departed very entertaining part of Hollywood History

I really enjoyed this movie, and it was also a very pleasent surprise, not knowing what to expect. The details of each case, place, and person is really a history lesson of Hollywood and Los Angeles. I would like to see more from this team of film makers.
