Absolutely terrible

one of the worst animated films I've even seen, why would you put an agenda like this in a film for kids

Terrible - We question what's wrong with society?

This movie was terrible in my 7-year-old son's, my husband's and my opinion. We turned it off 35 minutes into the movie. As Americans, we all question what is going wrong with our society and we argue over things like violence and gun control and also about what is wrong with children's behavior, etc. In our opinion, it is putting movies like these in front of our kids eyes that creates the problem. Why is it so hard to find good children's movies these days that don't include all the violence, language, attitude, sexual innuendo, etc.

Within the first 5 minutes of the movie it shows the father tiger get shot with a rifle and in slow motion at that. Then comes in a "street gang" monkey with a seriously bad attitude, who wants to make "WAR" and "spill the humans guts all over the safari." There is so much name calling and rotten language just within the first half hour. Then it brings in the parrot who lives in a house where the man comes home and tries to seduce some young sexy woman out by his pool by making her promises he has no intention of keeping….like a porn movie director or something….really? When the parrot gets to the safari, he also has a bad attitude and argues with the monkey with terrible language, name calling, threats, attitude, etc. Then the monkey talks of manipulating the parrot into going on their journey to Dehli, but states deceitfully that he will make him "disappear"…implying that he will make sure to kill him. The monkey is the worst, most violent character of all. He's basically a "gang" member who is only interested in fighting, creating "war", killing. it shows him slinging around his knives, his switch blade and most importantly his revolver…sticking it in peoples faces to threaten them. REALLY???

Making movies like this and then sitting our children in front of them is the reason our children don't respect authority, have horrible attitudes, and go around shooting their classmates and blowing up others when they want to solve a problem. The movie making industry has desensitized our children to violence. As we adults grew up, these movies would have been rated "R" for violence, language, and adult content. Isn't that what the rating system is there for?? Just masking it with cute little furry characters doesn't make it any more acceptable in my opinion! My kids are almost 8 and 12 and they agree that a lot of the things in movies are inappropriate. Why is it so hard to find a cute, fun, exciting movie that is not rated PG anymore??? I think they can have the same story lines and bad guys, without all the violence, language, sexual innuendo, and adult content that is in the movies.

Don't waste your money on this movie!!

Horrible movie….NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS!!!

I am so tired of having the left wing nuts trying to in bed thoughts in to my kids!!! Yes man is destroying the rain forest, and yes we all disagree with that, but the language in the movie is horrible for young kids. STUPID….BUTT….and a monkey that has a vision of KILLING A BIRD with a knife… AVOID THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!
NOT FOR MY KIDS!!!!!
