Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: "Delicacy" isn't going to set anybody's psyche on fire with its insights into grieving and emotional recovery, but as a crepe-thin romantic snack, it has its moments. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Apr 5, 2012

Rotten: "Delicacy'' walks a cautious line between realism and shaggy-dog whimsy, and its hesitancy comes to grate as much as it charms. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Mar 22, 2012

Fresh: A charming French love story about a beautiful widow and the schlub who loves her. – Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post, Mar 23, 2012

Fresh: Delicacy is a small, bittersweet romance about getting over the loss of a loved one - if that's possible - and moving on. – Steven Rea, Philadelphia Inquirer, Mar 22, 2012

Hmmm

I Love french film, and Audrey Tautou….She is a brilliant as ever in this film. I think the story could have been developed a bit better, and to some extent I think it was a little unrealistic with regards to the relationship that develops, but hey…that's why it's a fictional story…This one didn't move me as much as some of her other work……I give it 4 stars only because of Audrey's performance….the story itself is more like a 3 stars

Clean & sweet

Nice to see a film where the point is made w/o having to show anything graphic or dirty... Was simple, clean, and delicate:)

Sounds really...

boring.
