Plot Summary

In this unnerving chiller, Kyle and Rachel Massy are a young couple who have agreed to document their first pregnancy for a reality show. During the production and after moving to a new home, a series of unexplained phenomena start plaguing the couple, eventually derailing the production of the show. Rachel, growing increasingly paranoid, starts to believe that there might be something seriously wrong with their unborn bundle of joy. Told through the show's un-aired footage and interviews from friends, family and production members, Brian Netto's savvy debut feature injects the found footage genre with a fresh perspective and enough eeriness to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Worse Than "Devil's Due"

Yes, you heard me right, this movie is worse than Devil's Due (which is pretty bad); although they are pretty much the exact same thing, Devil's Due actually had a few things happening in it. Nothing happens in Delivery: The Beast Within. When something does happen, like when you see a ghostly shadow in the background, the scene quickly ends and goes to a completely different scene. If you're going to have a successful scare, you gotta build it up, not tease the audience with a scary moment that's never gonna come. Closing in on the climax, I was really hoping something interesting would happen. Did it? Nope. It was even predictable. And all of the the jumpscares in this movie consist of the camera static popping up out of nowhere. For instance, the camera's looking into a dark room and you're getting ready for something to pop out, and then "BZZT" the camera freaks out. Did I jump? Yes, but not because it was scary. I'm being completely honest, there are absolutely NO other jumpscares in this movie besides those. This movie was a total ripoff of Devil's Due, which was a total ripoff of Rosemary's Baby. It's pretty sad when you knockoff another knockoff. This movie was only made to take your money; it seems like there was no effort put into this. The biggest crime a horror movie can make is to not even be remotely suspenseful, and Delivery: The Beast Within is guilty. It's boring beyond belief and is not worth the time or money.

Tremendous performances and a thrilling story

This movie was a great found footage horror film. Saw it at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

The movie DEVIL'S DUE wanted to be.

A little PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, a little ROSEMARY'S BABY, DELIVERY manages to be a genuinely creepy entry into the ever-growing "found footage" genre. And, oh...what an ending.
