Plot Summary

A satirical comedy about former child star Joan Sweeney (Judy Tenuta), who will stop at nothing to make a comeback. At age 8 she was a star; at age 40 she's a has-been. In a desperate attempt to revive her career, her agent concocts a plan for her to come out as a lesbian, pose as a homeless person and even rob a convenience store - all to no avail. Just when she is ready to give up, Sweeney gets her big break. However, her second chance is soon complicated by the discovery that she is pregnant.
