Detective Sadie and Son

Plot Summary

Sadie, a proud, courageous policewoman in this contemporary action drama. As Sadie, the police officer, she is forced to deal with a number concerning issues - a police captain who is unimpressed with her track record of service; a son who faces expulsion from the Police Academy and a neighborhood shop owner who has romantic interests in her. After 28 years in the force, she is forced to retire. However, after capturing a mugger, she is reinstated and promoted to plainclothes detective and is partnered with her newly recruited detective son. Together they track a serial killer in the New York Subway. Her son almost quits when his carelessness nearly costs Sadie her life, but finally he comes to Sadie’s rescue when she needs it.
