Plot Summary

"Disaster Movie (Unrated)" follows the comic misadventures of three buxom non-brainiacs during one fateful night as they try to make they way to safety while every known natural disaster and catastrophic event hits the city. This twisted send-up from the filmmaking team behind Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans pulverizes everyone’s favorite disaster flicks, pop culture icons and public figures with raunchy and outrageous humor.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Disaster Movie, the latest disposable parody of disposable Hollywood movies, has a shelf life of about five minutes, tops. – Nathan Lee, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Since many of the targets (Cloverfield, Hancock, Kung Fu Panda) already have a cheeky self-consciousness, the comedy rarely seems more than a hasty patchwork of cheap-shot allusions. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Perhaps they'll eventually make one called Spoof Movie, which would brilliantly parody the genre by being consistently funny. – Michael Ordona, Los Angeles Times, Jul 16, 2014

Rotten: Rushed into production with no better drape for its threadbare gags than Cloverfield, this carpet-fouling mongrel of a movie no more deserves release than do anthrax spores. – Jim Ridley, Village Voice, Jun 24, 2010

The Name Explains It All

Disaster Movie was so bad that when I tried watching the first three minutes, I could no longer take it. All that this excuse of a movie does is poorly attempt to parody every other movie made before it while tossing in excrement jokes and cliche pop culture references. At the same time, no effort or care is given to a plot or direction. This is an ironically named movie that few, if any, will be watching in a year.

horrible

These people need to stop making these movies seriously they have got to be the dumbest movies in the world. Dont waste your money on this!

Movie title says it all.

You must be crazy spending almost $15 bucks for this God-forsaken crap. iTunes should be ashamed even putting this movie up. Enough said.
