Plot Summary

Rotten: Disaster Movie, the latest disposable parody of disposable Hollywood movies, has a shelf life of about five minutes, tops.
Rotten: Since many of the targets (Cloverfield, Hancock, Kung Fu Panda) already have a cheeky self-consciousness, the comedy rarely seems more than a hasty patchwork of cheap-shot allusions.
Rotten: Perhaps they'll eventually make one called Spoof Movie, which would brilliantly parody the genre by being consistently funny.
Rotten: Rushed into production with no better drape for its threadbare gags than Cloverfield, this carpet-fouling mongrel of a movie no more deserves release than do anthrax spores.

Worst Movie Ever of 2008
This movie is so awful that it made Meet the Spartans look like a masterpiece! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE! YOU HAVE NO REASON TO SEE THIS!!!
THE TITLE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF: IT'S A DISASTER
This movie truly is a disaster in itself. I didn't laugh one time during this movie. not one time. It seems as if Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer (producers of other horrible movies like "Epic Movie" and etc...) just keep getting more and more imature with the new and stupid parodies(like this) that have no creativity behind them and they lack the skills of what a true parody is even supposed to present. The casting behind this was also horrible. I swear, I really don't know why people like Carmen Elektra and others even act in these kinds of movies. They're just flushing thier career down the tube. "Disaster Movie" is by far the worst movie of 2008. Please, for your own sake, don't watch this. It's a disaster.
