Plot Summary
New York playwright Sidda Lee Walker is a long way from her Louisiana hometown, but an even greater emotional distance separates her from her mother Vivi. Rotten: Not one character in this ovarian jungle is particularly likable.
Rotten: Except for Ashley Judd, who shows true grit as Vivi in her babe days, the effect is like being buried in molasses.
Fresh: Gives us a lot to enjoy and something most studio movies don't even try for: an attempt at the richness, density and sheer contrariness of life.
Fresh: There's no denying that Divine Secrets is a clumsy journey, but at the end we know we've been places.

Divine Secrets of teh YaYa Sisterhood
Ok, seriosuly - can you make all these movies available to buy, as well as rent, please? This is a great movie for anyone who has life-long friends and knows there is no limit to what those friends can and will do for one another..very inspiring & funny too!

It was such a great piece about all types of relationships. The book is 10x better though. The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Siserhood and Little Altars Everywhere, read the books then watch it, it helps!
