Plot Summary
"Do You Like My Basement?" tracks how one man's creative frustration bore a need to make the perfect horror film. Stanley Farmer was rejected universally by the film world. His frustration provoked a darker side and soon cunning, guile, devilish charm and a sociopath's streak compelled him to produce a home-made magnum opus. A film that blurs the lines between reality and fiction and demands the attention of the very world that spurned him.

Do You Like My Basement?
Director Roger Sewhcomar has created a true horror movie thrill ride with DO YOU LIKE MY BASEMENT? It taps into the edge-of-your-seat suspense that we equate with such classics as PSYCHO with its intelligence, twisted humor, and an devilishly unabashed instinct for good bloody horror.
You need good characters to drive the engine and this is an excellent cast led by our ghoulish, and dapper, main character, Stanley Farmer, played by Charlie Floyd. This is a movie with a great contemporary edge and a cast tuned into it. The next time you come across an intriguing ad inviting you to take part in a special project, you'll think twice after seeing this.
Lastly, I highly recommend you get yourself some popcorn and enjoy this movie. I just wanted to add that this is sophisticated horror. You aren't asked to check your brain at the door. If you're curious, follow that instinct, because this is a gem.
FUN MOVIE NIGHT WITH FRIENDS
This is not just a horror movie, but also a clever and creepy look at how people will believe almost anything to make it in show business. I laughed out loud as the characters' blind ambitions led them astray. Spooky imagery also adds to the unsettling ambiance, which at times is startling and wince inducing. It was a lot of fun to watch with a group of my friends. The right mixes of shock, mock and schlock. It’s the way I like my horror flicks!
