Best movie I've seen in a while.

Rent it. It's a great movie.

from the time I first saw this movie I loved it. I have been locked up. Its not like in the movies. You can go in voluntarily and end up a prisoner. There is no judge or jury, just some Doc and orderlies and everyone is afraid to rock the boat. I was young and a female, locked up with men. Nothing to separate us but an open door. No cameras. No laws. I am surprised no one has made any real movies about the experience. Brittany is haunting. MD is predictable. But what a great, realistic, original story. It don't hurt that no matter how thin I was, my boyfriend always told me how fat I was..... just the tip of the iceberg

Great Movie--Great Britt!

The book is *amazing*...def a must read!!! The movie only touches on the violence and depravity depicted in the book, but brings enough that the pic is incredibly watchable, mesmerizing and heart pounding.
Brittany Murphy was truly awesome as Elisabeth...it was like the role was made specifically for her. She was tragic, haunting, frightened and frightening all at once...Brilliant performance--may she rest in peace.
Def do not miss this movie!
