Plot Summary
Resurrected from an icy river tomb, Count Dracula (Christopher Lee) returns with a lust for life and blood. The most religiously-themed of the Dracula movies, this one has Dracula battling with a monsignor whose niece is the vampire's intended... victim, that is.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Freddie Francis creates some admirable atmosphere and tension in the first half-hour, but ultimately reduces the film to an inconsequential splurge of arbitrary religious and sexual motifs.
Fresh: For starters, Lee's eyes are frequently and unnervingly bloodshot whenever his sexual drive begins to rev into gear.

Great Movie!!
But of course all the Christopher Lee/Hammer studios "Dracula" movies are great. This is a movie that you would watch at the Saturday matinee as a kid or later on "Creature Feature" (if anyone remembers that).
Great Dracula movie!
This is my favorite Dracula film and my favorite Hammer film. It stars Christopher Lee as the count and Veronica Carlson as his most beautiful victim. Great direction by Freddie Francis and good musical score through out the film by James Bernard. A must see film for fans of Dracula and fans of Hammer films!
Dracula.....
As usual, Christopher Lee is horrifyingly good as Dracula. The supporting cast does an adequate job in helping to tell this story. An okay film.
