Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A shallow and evasive movie, built more around corporate wish fulfillment than around reality ... – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Apr 10, 2014

Fresh: Thanks to Costner's sly, dry-aged charisma, it marches down the field and scores. – Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly, Apr 11, 2014

Fresh: Though "Draft Day" feels far less authentic than the baseball-themed "Moneyball," it can be amusing to watch all this inside football stuff if you are an NFL fan. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, Apr 10, 2014

Fresh: You may think you're not interested in a sturdy little dramatic comedy about the intricacies of the NFL draft process. But with Draft Day, you're in the hands of a master. – Stephanie Zacharek, Village Voice, Apr 11, 2014

Customer Reviews

This movie was never given the chance it deserved!

The movie, moment one to the end, is amazing. I for one am a big Kevin Costner fan and his casting was spot on with this team of actors. Absolutely worth watching! And one last word, so you are not s football fan, no problem … the storyline carries the movie and it works!

Never buy anymore

Itunes puts movies out to buy for weeks/months before giving the option to rent. As a result, it has been and will continue to be the policy of this subscriber to never buy movies on itunes....till the fleecing is over. #JackLame.

Worth watching

I have read and seen Moneyball, and I thought this movie was fun and entertaining. It might of been exaggerated in several ways, but it also is probably so true in how a team must go beyond what the fans and others think to make a bold move to really improve their team.
