Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Even those viewers who share the film's conviction that preparing a collection for New York Fashion Week is inherently fascinating may lose interest long before the final frock is fitted.
Rotten: Stretches 30 minutes of material to 79 through sheer repetition, both verbal (endlessly redundant talking heads) and visual (flashy montages replete with tangential catwalk imagery).
Rotten: David John Swajeski, who directed, produced, and edited this documentary on the fledgling fashionista, snags his film on cliches, poor pacing, and an unwillingness or inability to push his subject beyond talk-show pop-psych babble.
Rotten: "Dressed" is an uplifting story to be sure, but director-producer David Swajeski doesn't do it justice.
