Plot Summary
Since childhood we’d been promised that the 21st century would bring us dramatic new technologies like flying cars and utopian cities. Instead it bought us the smartphone, social media and online gaming. And as it turns out these technologies began to transform society almost as dramatically as the moon colonies we’d been expecting. DSKNECTD is a sobering and definitive exploration into digital communication technology, covering subjects ranging from text messaging and social media to online gaming and internet pornography. Absolutely riveting and universally accessible to anyone who has ever used a smartphone, Tweeted, Facebook ‘Liked’ or been irritated by someone doing one of those things while trying to have a conversation with them. Intelligently crafted from groundbreaking new research and the experiences of ordinary people, DSKNECTD examines how these technologies are profoundly changing the way we interact and experience each other – for the good and for the bad.

Great Documentary, Fun to Watch
This is a great documentary film. It is put together well and easy to watch! It really makes you think about the pleasures and perils of this digital world we live in. It also serves as a reminder to stay connected, in person, to the people you love!
Fascinating Look At Communication Methods & Human Interaction
Dsknectd is a documentary that covers a fascinating topic that impacts our everyday life: electronic communication. While electronic communication methods whether that be phone, internet, gaming, can bring people together, it kills the personal aspect of communication and in fact disconnects us as a society. This documentary does a fantastic job of covering this topic and many other aspects of electric communication, both positive and negative. I recommend that people watch this entertaining and enlightening documentary. You may just walk away with a different perspective of human interaction and electronic communication all together.
Extremely informative and very eye opening!
This movie was shocking to say the least! It truly brings to light what this generation has come to. There are so many stories within the film that really hit home and touched my heart. This film has really raised my awareness of what we are becoming as a society. Very well put together and inspiring!
