Plot Summary
An alien invasion left the Earth scoured. The American Frontier became one of the last vestiges for a scavenging humanity. And hope rested on the shoulders of a child who harbors a secret so powerful even she cannot know its truth. A resistance – The Free Legion – vowed to protect, convinced she would bring peace. But the child, now a young woman named Ellie (JORDAN MCFADDEN), has fallen into the hands of General Chizum (BATES WILDER), a brutal warmonger bent on unveiling her secret. With humanity in the balance, the Free Legion has dispatched two of their bravest to bring her back: Abel (STEVEN LUKE), the soldier of few words, and Tom Dixie (GARY GRAHAM), the cynical war vet.

Bad
Bad Bad Bad all I can say is Bad and Bad not in the good way.
Good SCIFI flick
I first saw this flick at the South Dakota Film Festival. It played well to a full house. The film is the freshman feature for director Andrew Kightlinger. Kightlinger holds this film together nicely intertwining some tried and true pros, Tony Todd, Doug Jones and Gary Graham while working with some upstart actors like Steven Luke and Jordan McFadden. Gary Graham steals the show delivering some great lines. He should be working more, I would like to see him in a dusty western. The story isn't iron clad but it moves along at a nice rhythm. The visuals are great. The film was shot out on the dry prairie of South Dakota and in the desert like Badlands. The locale provides a distinct style that sets the pace for the film. It is worth the price plus a bucket of popcorn.
Nice!
Five star if you like "a boy and his dog", "tank girl", "mad max", "six string samurai", "book of Eli" . Not to say they're all in the same league but it's all entertainment. Wouldn't mind a follow up at all!
