Plot Summary
JW (Joel Kinnaman - Robocop, The Killing), the promising business student who became an organized coke smuggler in Easy Money, is serving hard time in prison and struggling to get back on an honest path. There are glimmers of hope in his life - some venture capitalists are interested in a new piece of trading software he's developed, and while behind bars he's made peace with an old enemy. This all proves to be an illusion. On leave from prison, and back in contact with his former gang, JW learns that once you've walked in the shoes of a criminal there just may be no going back.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Because JW isn't the strutting, duplicitous peacock he was in the first movie, the role isn't as rewarding this time out.
Rotten: Though "Hard to Kill" forges new ground on the rich character histories developed in the first film, they feel like a random trio assigned the same punishment whose lives eventually intersect - and as such, the emotional moments never land.
Fresh: A deep pool of underworld characters and a focus on multicultural tensions in Stockholm lend crime drama some added interest in "Easy Money: Hard to Kill" ...
Fresh: Najafi stages action scenes with an intense, queasy beauty and elevates what is in its outlines a routine crime drama to near-operatic proportions ...

Wrong Rotten Tomatoes Rating
The first Easy Money was a great movie with a good story and amazing acting- and it had a 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This one, it's sequel, isn't very good. It's almost confusing to see the same people, who made the first movie so awesome, make this one the way it is. Last I looked, the REAL TOMATO METER WAS- 26%.
Dubbed
This Swedish movie is dubbed--poorly. It bugged me so much i could not watch it. Also, should you choose to use the English subtitles, they do not even match with the English spoken on the screen!
For those upset about Dubbing...
...just change the language back to Swedish by clicking on the dialog bubble on the in-video pop-up menu inside the player, right where the play/pause and fwd/rev are located when you mouse over the movie. That of course won’t effect the translation into english subtitles but you will get to hear the original actors performance that way. I think most iTunes movies (foreign) now have multiple audio tracks for your choosing. The last couple I’ve seen have defaulted to english dubbed, so I just change it. Easy fix.
