Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: In the end, ECSTASY wants to have it both ways -- drugs are celebrated at the beginning of the film, and condemned -- or at least the crime connected with them is - by the end. – David Stratton, At the Movies (Australia), Apr 26, 2012

Rotten: One gets the feeling this director doesn't think his target audience is all that smart. – Scott Murray, Sydney Morning Herald, Apr 26, 2012

Rotten: A crass and shallow exploration of a potentially interesting topic, which makes for one downer of a cinematic trip. – Cara Nash, FILMINK (Australia), Apr 26, 2012

Rotten: Not so much chemical romance as serious downer, it all seems so old. – Trevor Johnston, Time Out, Apr 20, 2012

Good Movie

I need the soundtrack!!!

Great music and great work from David J. Phillips!

This is a must see if you're into the rave/party scene. Check it out!

This movie was terrible catholic propaganda

you aren't going to get raped if you go to a rave. the cutter did not cut because of the drugs, sober people cut too. the threat of hell won't stop me from living a life filled with hedonistic trance dancing. the suicide thing was unrealistic. the whole "god's will" scene around 55 minuets was disgusting and wrong. you won't kill yourself if you go to a rave. you won't fail school if you go to a rave - i know plenty of people who go to lots of parties that pass school, one of them is even an A student in college physics. you are more likely to be raped by a catholic priest than by a guy on ecstasy at a dance party. your eye does not bleed like that - the bleeding eye was religious symbolism, not reality. the soundtrack was good. moral of the story = PLUR (people look ugly rolling) take LSD instead.

sincerely

- a jaded veteran of EDM parties.

ps- i want my money back. catholicism? more like cathLOLicism.
