Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Breathlessly boring spinoff of Daredevil.
Rotten: The sad thing about Elektra is that it reveals that for all the millions of dollars now spent on them, comic-book movies are being made with no more distinction than the cheapest old Saturday-afternoon serials.
Rotten: Offers no surprises, and whether or not you'll appreciate its modest charms depends entirely on whether you too have been anticipating Garner's new outfit.
Rotten: Another inert, soul-dead action drama that turns actors into zombies.

Elektra is a good movie
i actually liked it.. it was pretty cool how the story goes on from daredevil. one of my favorites
Could've been great..
It really makes me wonder how some movies get greenlit. Elektra, the comic book character, is such a fascinating, ruthless, and interesting assassin. Elektra, the movie character, is portrayed as dull, uninteresting, reserved, and an assassin with a conscience. Elektra is suppose to be all badass and will stop at nothing to get the job done. I understand that the writers were trying make more her more human and less of a robot in the movie, but when you get down to it, that is not what Elektra is about. This could have been an awesome movie, but like most movies that are adapted for the cinema, it is far from awesome. The acting is great and Jennifer Garner does an amazing job as Elektra. The action is minimal. Elektra is suppose to be a martial arts/weapons expert and I expected to see some awesome, wicked action scenes, unfortunately that is not the case. It's not that the movie is bad, it was just disappointing that they didn't end up doing more with such an interesting character.
I LOVED THE MOVIE, But I'm a little angry
ok! FIRST OFF, I LOVED the movie. Not just because of the acting (which was amazing) but from the martial arts and special effects and effort they put into this movie. Jennifer was great, and I'm so proud of her and how hard she worked. The movie was good, doesn't exactly follow the comic amazingly, but the comics are a little too far fetched for a movie. ok. I'm angry because I was waiting for quite some time to get this on itunes, and I bought the directors cut, I really want it on my ipod though. but GRRR, I don't think it gives me a free digital copy.... **sigh** LOVED THE MOVIE THOUGH!
