Fresh: Happily, the leads carry the day: James Marsden as a prince of grinning vanity, Susan Sarandon as the wicked stepmother, and, above all, Amy Adams, who, in the role of a would-be princess, finds true momentum, not just sappiness, in the farce of innocence.
Fresh: Like the Cinderella figure she plays in Disney's Enchanted, Amy Adams spreads a contagion of delight. The movie is great fun, but she's enchanting.
Fresh: Enchanted earns its label as a "family film" by virtue of its ability to captivate audience members both young and old.
Fresh: Though the film is full of allusions to the Disney canon, they are generally unobtrusive echoes rather than eager satires. This is a children's movie at which adults are also welcome, not a cartoon for grownups.

Enchanted rules!
Ok. I love Enchanted. I have seen it three times in the theatres. I own the soundtrack and I hang the ticket on my wall. Enchanted is a great movie theat always cheers you up. The plot is also intresting. Pretty much: A girl named Giselle dreams of her True Love. A giant attacks her, and she is rescued by Prince Edward. (The equivalent of Prince Charming) Prince Edward's stepmother does not want him to marry, for she will lose her throne, so, on the day of the wedding, she pushes Giselle down a well that transports her to New York City. Giselle runs through the city, terrified and winds up being lost in the middle of the rain. She meets a guy named Robert who lets her stay for the night. Meanwhile, Prince Edward also goes to New York and tries to find her. Giselle finds herself slowly falling in love with Robert and has to choose between Edward and Andalasia or Robert. This is a good movie. Everyone should see it. (and it should have won some oscars.)
disagree with the man thing...
I went to see this movie against my will because thought it was a kids/chic flic. Very wrong. I could not stop laughing. The movie pokes fun at itself and the entire fairy tale industry. Would watch it again in the wave of a wand.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!
Enchanted was by far one of my favorite films that came out this year. It was very enjoyable, and Amy Adams does an awesome job. Her and Patrick Dempsey were terrific together. Enchanted is definately a film you're gonna want to watch again and again. Thank u iTunes, for making this movie 'buyable' and not just 'rentable'!
