Plot Summary

One of the most anticipated cinematic events of the year, Gaspar Noe's ENTER THE VOID is a visionary thrill ride that's riveted audiences at the Cannes, Toronto, Sundance and SXSW film festivals. At Cannes, Manohla Dargis of The New York Times called it "an exceptional work... the work of an artist who's trying to show us something we haven't seen before". The long-awaited follow up to his controversial IRREVERSIBLE, ENTER THE VOID is an immersive and mind-bending experience. Nathaniel Brown and Paz de la Huerta star in a visceral journey set against the thumping, neon club scene of Tokyo, which hurls the viewer into an astonishing trip through life, death, and the universally wonderful and horrible moments between.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Director Gaspar Noe proved a shock poet in Irreversible. In Enter the Void, he's a shockingly tedious show-off. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Oct 13, 2010

Fresh: Enter the Void displays a dizzying virtuosity with the cinema of altered states. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Sep 23, 2010

Fresh: As chowderheaded as some of its underlying pretensions are, the movie's still an astonishing work of cinema, alternately brilliant and disgusting, naive and inspired, tedious and sublime. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Nov 11, 2010

Fresh: From the rapid-fire, purposely unreadable opening credits to the final baby POV shot of a birth, this is a dazzling and brutal exercise in cinematic envelope-pushing. – V.A. Musetto, New York Post, Sep 24, 2010

Thanks for adding ITUNES!!

This movie is unbelievable! I couldn't even understand the amount of emotion I felt when watching this movie. Not for the faint at heart though. Some very violent/disturbing scenes.

A brilliant rainbow of darkness
