Plot Summary
An epic battle begins when a middle-aged husband and father of two learns on the last day of a family vacation that he has lost his job. Keeping the news from his nagging wife and wound-up children, he packs up the family and embarks on a full day of park hopping amid enchanted castles and fairytale princesses. Things don’t go according to plan, as the manufactured mirth of the fantasyland around him begins to haunt his subconscious. An idyllic family vacation quickly unravels into a surrealist and darkly comic nightmare of paranoid visions, bizarre encounters, and an obsessive pursuit of a pair of sexy teenage Parisians. “Escape From Tomorrow” is a bold and ingenious trip into the happiest place on earth. Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: None of it is as scary or as funny as it should be, and what starts out as a sly thumb in the eye of corporate power ends up as a muddled and amateurish homage to David Lynch.
Fresh: A cult classic in the making, if I've ever seen one.
Rotten: Escape From Tomorrow soon turns into an endless loop of Expressionist symbolism, scoring its blunt points over and over until at last it limps off the screen, trailing suggestions of a reboot with altered players.
Fresh: Moore's sometimes surreal, sometimes sophomoric, black comic phantasmagoria, makes for a bumpy theme park ride.

Simply Shocking
I really am amazed that they got away with making this film. This movie demands to be seen.
Dark, engrossing and strangely hilarious.
Yes, Disney didn't know this film was being made. That might make one think right off that the hype surrounding the film depends solely on guerrilla tactics of the filmmakers. That is not the case here, as this film is a strange, dark odyssey that neither should be missed, nor written off. On a side note, the film had some bizarrely (intentional) comic scenes that were not only well executed, but keep you reflecting long after the film's brilliant final moment.
Different
This film is different. You need to understand that before you see it. The filming style is different, everthying about this film is different than an "average" movie. Even thought its different it is one of the best films I have seen this year. Has some edge, some laughs, some trippy moments. But yet its simple, clean, and awesome
