Plot Summary

Narrated by Laurence Fishburne, EVERYDAY SUNSHINE charts the turbulent history of the pioneering all-Black rock band Fishbone. From the streets of South-Central to Hollywood punk clubs and stages around the world, Fishbone rose to become one of the most original bands of the past 25 years—their influence discernible in many of today’s biggest pop acts. An effortlessly entertaining tale of artists following their own creative paths with punk rock endurance in the face of personality conflicts, family and financial woes, and an unforgiving music industry.

FIshbone was, is, and forever will be Red Hot

Being a Fishbone Soldier for over 25 years I loved it, this film was a very interesting and emotional look into the band that was so fantastic together that it made your soul groove. Their music got me through some very tough times and when I am having a particularly bad day I pop on Truth & Soul (my favorite) or In Your Face and I am transported to a happy land full of Cholly's and where Everyday is Sunshine. It was great to see Kendall, Chris, and "Dirty" Walt again. Sorry I didn't see Fish, hopefully the brothers in funk will be reunited again. The documentary had times of fun and times of sadness. With the best music EVER. Thank you for putting on film what everyone should see, that Fishbone is the Baddest Band on the Planet. We certainly come A Mighty Long Way...

Intriguing!

The influence of Fishbone can best be seen in this awesome documentary. The caliber of the musicians alone that were interviewed in this doc shows the credibility of Fishbone in the music world. One of the most underrated bands out there, it is great to see Fishbone overcome the countless obstacles to make it as a band through all these years.

Fishbone - Everyday Sunshine

What a great band! These guys have been around all of the blocks and are still walking tall. Rock Stars - yes, but as approachable as someone you know. Go see Fishbone Live to really understand where they are coming from but more importantly help them to get where they are belong!

Great Doc.
