Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Claustrophobic psychological-drama is a flawed but intriguing exercise in script writing ingenuity and economy.
Rotten: This low-budget British chamber piece has an intriguing scenario, so it's a shame that the po-faced, sci-fi-tinged screenplay fixates on the applicants' efforts to detect invisible ink on their exam papers.
Fresh: A modern morality tale in the sleek guise of a sci-fi-tinged thriller. The setting is modest, the ambition is big.
Fresh: Plot twists, lighting changes and shifts of tone work hard to sustain our attention, but the script sometimes becomes too involved in solving the structural challenges it has set itself.

One Major Flaw
Is it original: Check
Is it well written: Check
Is it acted well: Check
This Sci-fi mystery seems to have everything that will make it a good movie but it lacks on one level. The eight characters in the film do not change, grow, or develop in anyway. They are the same as when the film started. In order for a film be satisifying for the audience it must contain this key component. The ending feels shallow and I felt as a viewer frustrated with the lack of any development from the characters. The movie should have also included how the characters are effected by the exam. It is an incomplete film at best. The film creativity is not enough to overcome the fact that it is shallow and unsatisifying. It may be worth a rent, but if it was up to me I wouldn't waste any money on this movie.
