Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A lumbering mess in which [Klass] has somehow trapped several recognizable actors. – Neil Genzlinger, New York Times, Oct 11, 2012

Rotten: A catchy but irrelevant title is the first of many problems with Excuse Me for Living, which throws together a lot of superficially flashy elements that never gel in any organic way. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Oct 12, 2012

Rotten: Vaguely misogynistic and defiantly paternalistic, the movie fails at nearly everything - comic tone, sex gags, charm, logic, direction of actors ... – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Oct 11, 2012

Rotten: No strand of Excuse Me for Living's frantic, unfunny, and pseudo-thoughtful narrative is well conceived. – Simon Abrams, Village Voice, Oct 11, 2012
