Plot Summary

During the first closed door demonstration of an amazing new virtual reality game called eXistenZ, the system's brilliant designer, Allegra Geller (Leigh), is violently attacked by a crazed assassin intent on killing her and destroying her creation! Forced to flee into hiding, Allegra enlists a young assistant (Law) to help her in testing the damaged system ... by convincing him to join her inside eXistenZ! Its alright

I love cronenburg and even the flesh films like Videodrome but this movie was a disappointment. It might have been the scripting but I think my problem was with Jennifer Leigh. I think….I think I don't like her. Something about her voice, her face, her persona. I don't like it. It's very uncomfortable to me.

The movie also seemed very lazily put together. Great concept, just poorly executed.

love it

One of my favorite movies. Low budget, creative, surreal, dream-like absurdity. It's not for everyone, but it is definitely a cult classic in my opinion, and my opinion rules. :)
