Plot Summary

Every day growing numbers of men and women walk the streets of their city, opening doors. They abandon jobs, friends, and families for the search. They believe the city is a maze, and are looking for something lost for thousands of years – the exit. Using a strange system of maps, symbols and measurements, one young woman named Alice is sure she’s finally found the way out. Before she can reach it she must convince other believers to help her: a cunning businessman, a young couple in love, a violent sociopath, a family man who’s lost everything. Each brings their own tactics, theories, and threats. What’s behind the exit? No one knows – but it must be something else. Something new.
