Plot Summary
Stephen Boyd, Donald Pleasence and Raquel Welch star in this imaginative sci-fi adventure. When a scientist who holds the secret of miniaturization goes comatose, a team of specialists travels inside his body to try to repair a dangerous blood clot. But with his body’s defenses fighting them, and a saboteur on the team, it’s a race against time to operate before the miniaturization wears off!

Fresh: All I can tell you is it is quite a trip.
Fresh: The lavish production, boasting some brilliant special effects and superior creative efforts, is an entertaining, enlightening excursion through inner space -- the body of a man.
Fresh: This special effects extravaganza from 1966 has proved surprisingly enduring, despite a technical quality crude by contemporary standards; perhaps it's the screwball poetry of the plot.

…is of no help in evaluating this movie. It is an old 707 landing at an airport, two men getting out, and one leaving with a military escort. If I had never seen this film, I could not tell you that it is true science fiction and worth every cent of the rental or purchase. Five stars for "Fantastic Voyage", one star for the person who did the quality control for iTunes.
