Plot Summary

FASTEST captures the thrilling, terrifying reality of MotoGP racing. From award-winning filmmaker Mark Neale (“Faster,” “The Doctor,” “The Tornado and The Kentucky Kid”) and with unprecedented access and never-before-seen footage, the film charts Valentino Rossi’s quest for his eighth premier class championship as he battles back from a horrific leg-shattering crash. Rossi takes on a wave of ferociously fast young riders and the emerging stars of the sport, including Jorge Lorenzo, Ben Spies, Dani Pedrosa, Marco Simoncelli and Casey Stoner. FASTEST explores the greatest feeling coupled with the greatest risk in MotoGP racing, asking the question every rider—even the greatest of all time—must face: Who’s fastest now?

Fun watch for non race weekends!

I've been following MotoGP since 2007. I watched "Faster" and this really started me down the path of pure fanaticism. It introduced me to why Rossi is really the king, even though in that year he lost to Stoner. I didn't really know the names or the history at that time. Now watching "Fastest" I know all the names, remember the races being talked about, when they happened, the drama, and the accidents. This film filled in the blanks and brought home again to me just why these men are so brave, living a life I only wished I could. My only criticism of this film is that Mark Neale didn't go back and rework the film to spend a little more time on Marco Simoncelli after his death last year in Sepang. It tore my heart out when he died and I'm sure many others too. This dark side of MotoGP should have been shown more clearly in the the context of Marco's death. In the end the movie should have been dedicated to him and Shoya Tomizawa killed the year prior in Moto2.

great!!!!! highly recomend!!!

this is an awesome movie.true to the sport!
