Plot Summary
After contracting polio from a venomous werewolf bite, FDR won't stop at single-handedly ending the Great Depression and Prohibition. If only history were this much fun...
I have been quoting this movie non-stop for the month since I've seen it. So absurdly hilarious, it is a must see! I missed half of the jokes the first time I saw it because I was still laughing so hard from a previous joke.
If you are a fan of "Spin City" you'll be so amused by The Mayor being so vulgar. If you're a fan of F.D.R., you'll love the interpretation. The indie spirit of this movie makes it that much more fun because you can tell they want the audience to be in on the joke. Suspend disbelief for historical accuracy, and you'll be glad you did.
I really hope to see more from this writer/director. Haven't laughed this much in a movie theater in a long time. Absolutely loved it!
Hysterical movie...
I caught a screening of this at Comic Con and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the funniest, most politically incorrect films I have ever seen. We've been quoting lines from it for weeks. Awesome.
So funny...
Literally couldn't stop laughing when I saw this at a screening Portland. It is the exact opposite of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Reminded me of the original Naked Gun.
