Plot Summary
First love can be innocent or intense, intoxicating...or insatiable. Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon and Alyssa Milano star in this riveting suspense-thriller about a passionate romance that soon becomes a deadly obsession. Nicole Walker (Witherspoon) always dreamed of being swept away by someone special - someone strong, sexy and sensitive who would care for her more than anything else in the world. David (Wahlberg) is all that and more: a modern-day knight who charms and seduces her, body and soul. But her perfect boyfriend is not all he seems to be. His sweet facade masks a savage, dark side that will soon transform Nicole's dream into a nightmare. Also starring William Petersen and Amy Brenneman, and featuring a killer soundtrack, this provocative thriller will lure you past the brink of terror and keep you on the edge of your seat!

Rotten: For a while, the cast is appealing enough, and the design is House Beautiful enough, to camouflage the Fatal flaws that turn the second half into an overblown, predictable snicker-fest.

I absolutely love this movie! I love how it shows that a guy can be obsessive, not just a girl. This movie is definitely one of Mark Wahlberg's better movies. BONUS: He's shirtless quite often.
Worth the Watch
While this film may not be well known, everything about it screams 'a good movie'. Mark Wahlberg plays David McCall, a misunderstood guy who captures the heart of Nicole Walker, who is played by Reese Witherspoon. Throughout the film, Nicole's father warns her about David, but she believes her father is being too protective of her. Eventually, Nicole must learn the hard way that maybe her father was right. After watching this film myself, I was shocked. Not only by Reese's performance, but Mark's. I have seen many Mark Wahlberg movies, and I have to say that this is one of his best. Not only does he play the character well, but his character's actions throughout the film leave you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what's going to happen next. Some scenes may be corny, but overall, this movie is definitely worth the watch.
AMAZZING!!!
