Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: De Palma -- a master of kinky, delirious visuals -- hooks you good. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Aug 14, 2007

Rotten: More tawdry than titillating, what should have been sultry is more often skanky. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: A feast for hard-core movie or De Palma buffs (and Romijn-Stamos junkies) but a famine for anyone looking for a good story. – Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: Sexy and passably entertaining, with a plot that's too clever by half. – Edward Guthmann, San Francisco Chronicle, Nov 19, 2002

Hot

This girl is so hot - so intense - she's in charge what a ride - where's the sequel.
Wish there were movie movies like it.

Think twice

If you want to see Rebecca Romijn in white lingerie, black lingerie, then no lingerie, you won't be disappointed. If you're expecting those moments to be embedded in a worthy film, then you will be disappointed. Some might say that there is an original plot twist. Plot lapse is more like it, leading to a Disney ending. Acting is poor throughout. You may not miss your 3 bucks, but its fairly likely you'll be wishing you could get your 2 hours back.
