Bad Choice
This movie is a particularly disappointing waste of time because the individual performers involved are so talented. But none of that talent is on display here. Painfully slow and uninteresting by today's standards, I actually turned it off to watch broadcast television (twice) and made out my monthly spending budget. If I had had dirty laundry to wash and fold I would probably would have done that too rather than sit through this. As it was I tried to fast forward through it to find the "funny" parts. Let me save you the $3.00 rental fee; there aren't any funny parts. Sad.
Dissapointment
I'm a big Gilda Radner fan so I really wanted to see this movie. The first 2/3 was kinda funny. I did laugh at a couple of parts. However, the last third was tragic and stupid. Unless you are invested in a particular actor/actress in this movie and you just want to see what they did, don't bother. Save your money and your time. This movie is really quite bad.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!
If you are a Gilda Radner, Bob Newhart or Madeline Kahn fan, this movie is a must! Gilda was a riot playing the role if the deviant "First Child". This is a movie that should be considered a classic.
