Plot Summary

FISH OUT OF WATER is a spirited documentary that explores the seven Bible passages notoriously used to condemn homosexuality and justify marriage discrimination. This genre-bending intellectually condensed analysis of the homophobic religious arguements is a mixture of animation, LGBTQ community interviews and expert analysis from theologians across the country, who argue both sides of the interpretations of the passages. With the help of a cartoon narrator, animated recollections of Bible passages and witty illustrations, FISH OUT OF WATER makes the polarizing subject accessible and non-threatening, and clearly can be seen by all audiences.

Fish Out of Water

Wonderful movie that educates and informs you of the truth not what modern religion makes
scripture talor designed to fit their views. For all ages. Ky interviews clergy of all faiths
about what the Bible does and doesn't say about being gay, lesbian, bi and transgender. Good and informative no matter what your sexual identity is. I founf it very useful for those that have the verses in the Bible that are used as weapons and cultural politics to highlight other verses that no one pays any attention to. Very well thought out and every one struggling with their sexual identity needs to see. If not them their families that don't understand. It is about time movies like this came out to educate the public instead of the public being afraid of it.
