Plot Summary
Saturday, March 29 2008 started off like every other Saturday for thirty-two year old surfer Nathan Gocke. But it was a day his life would change forever as a surf accident left him without feeling from the chest down. Nathan was quadriplegic but his spirit was not paralyzed. With enough strength in his arms to enter an intensive rehabilitation program, he did not dwell on the past but looked to the future. Nathan's increasing strength, and pivotal encounters with key individuals along the way, helped crystallize one simple and powerful thought in his mind. He would one day surf again. Nathan's journey is a declaration that we can endure and overcome.

Awesome. Inspiring.
I went to school with Nathan, so this documentary was hard for me to watch. It hit me hard. I can't imagine what he has gone through. This documentary inspired me and I know it will inspire anyone who watches it. He has always been a awesome guy, so I wouldn't expect anything less from him. Two thumbs up from me!
I heart Nathan Gocke
This film took my breath away. It's the story of an incredible young man who gets back to doing what he loves most, under the most difficult of situations. Very inspirational. Great music.

Nathan Gocke tackles his challenges realistically but also with great optimism. He has a dream and goes for it. His pursuit is incredibly inspiring. Have the tissues handy -- you'll cry out of happiness. Well done!!
