Plot Summary

If A Fistful of Dollars began the Eastwood legend, then its sequel, For a Few Dollars More, cemented it. Clint Eastwood makes his return as “The Man With No Name,” this time teaming up with a rival bounty hunter (Lee Van Cleef as “The Man In Black”) to take down a ruthless outlaw and his band of renegades. This gritty, “hard hitting” (Variety) western masterpiece would be followed one year later by The Good, The Bad and The Ugly to complete director Sergio Leone’s brilliant Spaghetti Western Trilogy.

Leone is the Master.

"For A Few Dollars More," the second in the Man With No Name trilogy, is every bit as excellent as its predecessor, "A Fistful Of Dollars." The beautiful visuals, the awesome score, the unflinching stare of Clint Eastwood, they're all here. This time, the story is an original, not a remake like "Fistful" is. If there's any mis-step, it's that the film is actually more about Lee Van Cleef's character than it is about The Man With No Name. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but The Man With No Name is, in my opinion, one of the greatest characters ever put up on the big screen. How do you not focus on him? Don't let that lead you astray though. This film is one of the best westerns ever from the best western director ever. The whole series, especially "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," should be required viewing for all of humanity.

This is how it should be done!

Western? Yep. Great western? Yep. Clint? Heck yeah. Here is the deal...They just don't make movies like this anymore. No silly effects, no cgi, no....well, no crap. Every scene is a painting with details and meanings. Facial expressions, colors, sounds, everything for a reason and a darn good reason. If you are an attentive viewer you will get so much out of these movies. So this is a very good film, well made, quality. Clint's 'Man with No Name' is unlike most hero/villians. Just watch the film and enjoy!
