Plot Summary

This gripping tale, action-packed with relentless and brutal martial arts scenes, begins in 1881 as Chinese immigrants flood a mining valley eager to find their fortune. Contrary to their expectations, what they encountered was a lethal gang of betrayed brothers on a mission of vengeance. To fight for the honor of the people, one man must unleash the ancient art of Wushu. His actions cause the Four Dragons to engage in an epic battle in which only one side can win…and only one hero can emerge as the greatest martial artist of all.

Don't Waste Your Money

This is an appalling movie - albeit with some nice cinemotography - but totally reduced to rubble by the atrocious voice over and dub. This movie is infantile in both its conception and execution beisdes being a betrayal of the whole martial arts genre. It is a lesson in how not to make a movie. Enough said.

4 dragons

this movie is horrible, bad script and fake blood, and bad voice over.

I thought it was pretty good

The fight choreography was awesome. The actors were all real martial artists, so at times their acting left something to be desired, but I wasn't watching it for their acting skills; I wanted to see some cool fight scenes. It kept flashing back to the first major fight scene where the brothers initially got betrayed, but since the action was good, I didn't mind watching it again. Also, I liked the way they did the animated blood spatters throughout the movie. All in all, this movie was an enjoyable experience. Don't watch it with the dub; just play it in Chinese (a mix of Cantonese and Mandarin) and ignore the dialog. The action makes up for it.
