Plot Summary

Fred Figglehorn (Lucas Cruikshank), is back in an all-new movie adventure, and his life has gone from kooky to spooky. Fred’s beloved music teacher, Mrs. Felson, has mysteriously disappeared, and Fred is convinced that her replacement, Mr. Devlin, has a secret life – as a vampire! And to make matters worse, Mr. Devlin is dating Fred’s mom! With the help of his awesome dad (WWE superstar John Cena) and his friends Bertha (Daniella Monet from "Victorious") and Talia (Ariel Winter from "Modern Family"), Fred begins a weird and wildly comic quest to expose Mr. Devlin’s true identity –before he turns Fred’s cul-de-sac into a community of bloodsuckers!

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: He's insane! He's irrepressible! It's like a bad dream you keep hoping will stop. – Tim Robey, Daily Telegraph, Dec 16, 2010

Rotten: There is one sort-of reasonable joke about the Marriott hotel. Otherwise this is one to miss. – Peter Bradshaw, Guardian, Dec 16, 2010

Rotten: Fred is a withering, unerringly precise satirical pastiche of the me-first 'American Idol' generation. The only question is why an audience would choose to spend 83 minutes with him. – Tom Huddleston, Time Out, Dec 15, 2010

THEY MADE ANOTHER ONE?!

Just knowing that this movie actually exists makes me wanna punch something.

You people.

You people are so stupid for not giving him a chance! It is a great movie. I laughed throughout the whole movie.

He has Returned

It differs from the first film in that it actually has a story concept, but the film gets old fast. There are probably three genuinly funny scenes in there, but there are also long dry and repetitive periods in between them that really could have used a few more creative situations. This isn't the most original storyline, and the writers didn't do anything special with it, sadly. The budget appears to be slightly bigger than the first film, and so you'll be happy to know that there are actually a few special effects in there for some more fantasy-type humor.
