Plot Summary
We live in a world full of lines that divide us—Racial. Financial. Religious. But what if there was one line that brought us all together? The Boston Film Festival's Audience Award Winning documentary, Free Throw, follows eight students at Compton High School as they participate in a free throw shooting contest for a $40,000 college scholarship that would make international headlines. As we learn about these amazing boys and girls, what starts as a competition gradually becomes collaboration and we discover that America's true role models may come from a very unlikely zip code.

An incredible emotional roller coaster of a film!
Free Throw should be seen by every high school kid!!!
As the owner of an NBA D League team I love basketball movies but this movie is in a class of it's own. As the coach of an 11 year old basketball team I can tell you it is a must see. After seeing this film I started sharing it with friends and family and the reaction is the same. It is beloved. It will move you and change the way you look at athletics. There should be more movies like this to inspire our kids. Great job.
