Plot Summary
A whimsical look at patriotism and consumerism in America. It explores the absurdity of many of the symbolic gestures that have recently pervaded our culture, such as the wasting of perfectly good French Wine and the waving of Chinese-made America flags. With the help of a leading scholar and an outspoken social activist, this film draws a concrete relationship between American consumerism and patriotism.

worth it !
Smart, funny and so true ! Great documentary
Perfectly conveyed! Well done!
Great movie calling us out on how we "shop/buy" our way to self-identitiy and U.S. "Freedom." So true! I will definitely think before I charge/buy me some happiness. Way better than expected. It could have been longer, I would have sat through many more hours realizing what we are really doing and whom for - us!
Neat idea, bad film
As much as I agree with some of the points of view displayed here, I wouldn't recommend watching this one. The overall smug tone and ham-fisted sarcasm throughout gets in the way of the message.
