Plot Summary
Deon and Patrice have been married for three years. From the outside, they seem to be the epitome of happiness, but Patrice doesn’t trust her husband and spends half of her day pondering whether or not he is cheating. Deon, who has always been faithful, is fed up with her snooping ways and is wondering if marriage to Patrice will forever be like this. Most recently, Deon has been taking dance classes to surprise Patrice with a waltz for their anniversary. However, Patrice only sees his evening “errands” as another way for him to leave the house and spend time with other women. Patrice turns to her best friend Corinne for help. But Corinne has no time for Patrice because she just got engaged to her boyfriend of four years Lucas Moore. After dozens of hints, he finally proposed, and Corinne is overjoyed. However, the day after proposing Lucas gives Corinne a pre-nuptial to sign, and her joy immediately turns to rage. In the meantime, Deon, with the advice from his brother Noah, has set a trap for his wife. This time when she goes through his phone, she will get just what she’s looking for and he will catch her red-handed. After Corinne refuses to sign the pre-nuptial agreement, Lucas turns to his family for advice. His mom Elena insists that Corinne has always been after his money and she not signing the pre-nuptial is proof. Lucas begins to re-think their relationship, but this time when he speaks to Corinne, he is surprised to see that she also has a pre-nuptial that he must sign in order for them to become man and wife. Lucas quickly gets the taste of his own medicine and starts to look at a pre-nuptial agreement in a different light.
