Plot Summary
In 2025, Futuresport is the organized sport of the planet. But someone else is getting organized and their game is war. Now superstar athlete Tre Ramazy has more than the weight of his over-inflated ego to carry Ð he's in this game fighting on behalf of the world. Tre learns that playing this revolutionary sport may be the only way to stop a revolution. Dean Cain, Vanessa Williams and Wesley Snipes star in this turbo-charged, sci-fi thrill ride.

Somewhere, somehow, someway...
I'm convinced that there MUST be a vehicle for Dean Cain that will showcase (reveal?) the talent I feel exists in there.
But this ain't it.
Future Sport (and all signs point to 'no way in hell' in this reality's future) in a nutshell attempts to meld Rollerball (note the '75 edition) and a incredibly pathetic melange' of Blade Runner, Running Man, and Freejack. The final product is what you would expect. Maybe even worse. The only fan of this film I could find was someone on a skateboard forum talking about how cool it would be to have hoverboards - that was it.
A better choice, and admittedly it's not a much better choice, is to check out 'Post Impact'. Not a huge improvement, but then almost anything would be better than this schlocky wannabe scifi pile.
