Plot Summary
For over 50 years, cartoonist Gahan Wilson has been known for his ghoulish, twisted visions that combine horrific elements with comedy and politics. His subversive cartoons have appeared in Playboy Magazine, The New Yorker, National Lampoon, The New York Times, Colliers, Look, and others. Capturing a behind-the-scenes look into the challenging life of a professional cartoonist, “Gahan Wilson: Born Dead, Still Weird” takes an intimate look at Wilson’s bizarre and personal inspirations, and his influence on the medium. Featuring interviews with comedians, filmmakers, fellow artists, and long-time admirers including Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher, Randy Newman, Guillermo Del Toro, Neil Gaiman, Stan Lee, Hugh M.
